- Australian Resources Conference and Trade Show
- 12.11.2012 - 14.11.2012
- Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre - Perth
The Australian Resources Conference and Trade Show (ARC 2012), to be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 12-14 November - is the first event of its kind in Australia.
The event, which is a joint initiative of ASX and Financial Review Group, will bring together all parts of the resources industry - mining and oil and gas - in one city and at one event, and provide a comprehensive overview of Australia’s resources sector to domestic and international delegates.
The event will promote Australian-listed resources companies to domestic and international investors through a dedicated ‘investor exchange’, which has already attracted significant industry support, with leading organisations such as Chevron, PwC, RCR and Link Market Services confirmed attendees.
ARC will also feature presentations from government and international experts on a wide range of industry issues, including the latest products and services, and the outlook for the economy, along with sessions focused on professional development.
Confirmed keynote speakers include David Peever, Rio Tinto managing director; Jimmy Wilson, BHP Billiton president of Iron Ore; David Gonski, Future Fund; Murray Bailey, Yancoal managing director; Ken Brinsden, Atlas Iron managing director; and Michael Young, BC Iron managing director.
ARC is supported by the Western Australian Government and the Commonwealth Department of Resources and Energy, the Perth Convention Bureau, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Tourism Western Australia. More information about ARC, including speakers and session topics, is available here: www.arc2012.com.au.
Registration is now open and limited sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are still available.
