Saffire is a Fodor's favourite.
US travel guide publisher Fodor’s Travel has named Saffire Freycinet on Tasmania’s east coast in its top 100 Hotel award winners for 2012.
Travel experts at Fodor’s selected the top 100 hotels from more than 4000 global nominations, with winners from 41 different countries across nine categories representing the year’s global hospitality trends.
“Our Fodor’s editors and contributors are constantly evaluating hotels throughout the year, and the Fodor’s 100 represent our top picks for travelers right now,” Fodor’s travel executive editorial director Arabella Bowen said.
“We look for properties with great amenities and stellar service that offer a unique experience to guests. Every traveller will find a dream hotel on this list, no matter what their travel personality happens to be.”
Saffire was named in the top 10 Best All Inclusive hotels in the world, recognising properties that include activities, meals and drinks in the rate.
“Fodor’s has long been recognised as a travel guide ‘bible’, particularly for travellers from the US, and to be named in their top 100 hotels is fantastic,” Saffire general manager Justin King said.
“The fact we were named in the top 10 Best All Inclusive hotels is great recognition for our commitment to providing amazing accommodation, food and wine and experiences for our guests in one worry free package rate.”
The award comes hot on the heels of Saffire being named the Best Luxury Accommodation at the recent Tasmanian Tourism Awards, and the number two Best Overseas Leisure Resort in the Australasia and South Pacific Region by readers of travel bible Condé Nast Traveller in the UK.
