Navigator gold project on track

Navigator Resources expects to mine the first ore from its re-commissioned Bronzewing gold project, 83km north of Leinster in Western Australia, by the end of the month with commissioning of the processing facilities due in early April.

The first ore will come from the Central Pit and contractors are onsite to carry out a clean-up of the pit floor and drill and blasting will begin this week.

The Bronzewing project has a resource of 850,000 ounces of gold, from 12.5 million tonnes of ore, and will be processed through a 2.3 million tonnes per annum processing plant.

Trial mining began at Navigator’s Leonora gold mine last month.
